Travel Day(s)






We had our first challenge early in the program.  All of our flights to Dallas were canceled.  So, it took much of the early morning hours to get it sorted out so that we could all meet up in Chicago and end up in Bangkok at the same time.  To this we say "Mai pen rai!"



Here are some of our students on the flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok. You can tell that sleep deprivation has taken hold of Jake.










Here we are at the baggage carousel in Bangkok.  All of us made it but the bags from the KC students were held up in Chicago because the gate agent in KC didn't route the bags properly.  They will arrive tomorrow morning at 11:15.  Mai pen rai again.








Although it was 2:30 in the morning, we had to get street food right away.  Mmmmm.  And now I'm posting to this blog at 3:54 in the morning.

    Thanks for posting so quickly! Jake you definitely appear sleep deprived. I hope the adventures today make up for the lack of sleep. :) Sarah Baker (Jake's sister)
